Belfast City of Sanctuary at Ulster University
ICT Training Open Day this morning at Ulster University Belfast. There were in excess of 30 people attending. It was a session warmly hosted by Dr James Uhomoibhi of the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment. We were honoured with the presence of Kate Nicholl, formerly Lord Mayor of Belfast and now an MLA and a faithful ally of Belfast City of Sanctuary.
There was plenty of time in the university’s reception area to mingle with and get to know the participants. Dr Uhomoibhi put everyone at ease. For most people, this was the first time they had visited the new Belfast campus, one of 5 in Ulster University. He gave us a brief tour of the area where the training sessions would take place. Many thanks to James and Ulster University!
This is the first of 12 training sessions to be hosted by Ulster University.
Many thanks to our Coordinator, Israel Eguaogie for his usual meticulous planning and management of this session with 11 more to follow, all on Tuesdays.
