The Building Bridges project by Belfast City of Sanctuary has been held at Sandy Row Community Centre over the past five weeks, with the final session to be held on Thursday 30th March 2023. Each week a session of ‘Understanding Northern Ireland’ is delivered by our committee member, Dr Paul Nolan, followed by a delicious lunch prepared by our volunteers from across the globe.
So we are all learning something new, whether it be about Northern Ireland or food made using ingredients and recipes from across continents. That’s building bridges through knowledge, food shared with new friendships made and nurtured.
