Today, it was the turn of South Belfast to host one of our Refugee Week events. We have been to East, West and North Belfast and all have been well attended.

Our recipe for success this week has been the chance for people and their families to meet, and together have food, get information, and for the young ones to participate in one of our drumming workshops, today led by the popular musician, Wilson Magwere,

We were pleased to welcome Deirdre Hargey MLA to this event. This is Deirdre’s constituency and she’s always so supportive of the work we do.

Tomorrow is our annual Great Refugee Week Picnic at Ulidia Playing Fields from 1pm to 5pm. There will be food, dancing, singing, crafts, cakes and face-painting and a chance to meet new people.
